Computers 4 Kids has given me a chance to interact with the community.  I am a college student and do this job as federal work study.  I have helped teach digital literacy classes and repair computers since 2017. I love those moments when some our students are getting more familiar with different computer apps, and seeing how happy it makes them to know that they are learning how to use a computer. What I love about my job is the collaborative environment. The people who are working here are college and university students. They have a variety of majors. I’ve been using computers since I was about five years old. As a teenager, I stared to feel like it was time for me to expand my knowledge and find a way to enter the computer technology field. I started attending classes at Sacramento City College in the Fall 2017 semester. I have been taking classes to work toward graduating with an AS in Computer Information Science Security. I am also working towards getting my CompTIA Certificate as well as the CCNA and Microsoft Azura certificates.
